Wowing Me

6 September 2010

HM Pilar

I’ve found a totally beautiful mare that looks exquisite under saddle and looks good in every other way too.  She’s just 5 years old and daughter of the *Negatraz son, Poirot.

This mare looks like a warrior’s mare when ridden, complete with a gorgeous head carriage and beautiful strong hip.  Her legs look fantastic and she has a chiseled head and dreamy beautiful eyes.

Meet HM Pilar, a Pure Polish mare that I wish I could own.  If I were to buy a pure polish mare, she would be it.  It’s impressive to me how much she reminds me of Fadjur in her motion.

I already introduced her sire, and her dam is packed full of awesomeness.  Her dam is from the Wielka tail line, and is the daughter of Wisdom and also carries close lines to Czort, and a stunning Comet son, Essaul (Sheila Varian bought this horse in the 70s).

Truly, this mare makes me giddy all over and I would buy her in a heart beat.  Just $4,500.00!

Versace’s Vision for Sale

5 September 2010

Versace's Vision

If you’re looking for a top notch colt with some amazing bloodlines, Versace’s Vision is a prime target!

A young 2007 bay colt, sired directly from Versace and out of a Fadjurz Prize daughter, Versace’s Vision has already started an impressive show record.  This year 2010, he received Nor Cal Futurity Champion 3 year old colt!   He’s Sweepstakes Nominated and a Scottsdale Signature stallion.

His pedigree is solid.  Versace really needs no introduction.  A beautiful Fame VF son with amazing soulful eyes and a dam line to El Shaklan and The Real McCoy.  Versace’s Vision’s dam is Fadjurz Finesse.  Her tail line pretty much goes into pure Spanish lines including Armando, Garbo and Congo.

He’s already at 15.3 hands and has a terrific future ahead of him.  Could go Halter, Hunter and Western.

The price is remarkably good for all of the progress he has made.  $15,000.00

See more on him here: http://iarabians.com/details.asp?id=350

Murmansk

4 September 2010

Murmansk

I have to say, this *Muscat son is a stallion I know very little about but find him to be very intriguing.  His name is Murmask and he was foaled in 1977 at Tersk stud.  He’s out of Monogramma, the dam of *Monogramm.

Murmansk was a big beautiful chestnut with four white socks and a slim blaze down his nose.  Though his head was more straight and his eyes perhaps a little smaller than what the breeding may have promised, he turned out to be a beautiful robust stallion with a fantastic neck and beautiful angles and smoothness on his body.  I particularly love his nice neck set and strong and deep jowel.

Although he didn’t sire a ton of foals, he did wind up siring a few very well built horses.  He sired a beautiful Russian bay mare named Verba who produced a whopping 17 foals, including 2 by Balaton and 1 by his son, Kubinec.

Murmansk also sired a rather stunning gray mare, bred by Tersk stud, named Dombra, who did well in her short race career, as well as being an All Nations Cup Senior Reserve Champion Mare.  She produced a total of 6 foals, two by Balaton.

Finally, his notable son, *Meksiko, was imported into the United States and has done very well as an Endurance horse as well as gracing a popular calendar.

Zodiac Matador / Khemosabi Mare

3 September 2010

This mare is a treasure in a pretty and expressive little package!  Meet SW Fiesta, a mare with a pedigree you may want to sit up in your seat for!

She is sired by a lovely chestnut stallion with all of the chrome and a lot of park horse power flowing through his veins, TC Miyake, a Zodiac Matador son, out of a Cognac daughter.

But it gets even better!  SW Fiesta’s dam is the daughter of Khemosabi and out of a Bey Shah daughter with lines to Ferzon, Fay-El-Dine, Raffles, Hallany Mistanny, and Raseyn.  Yeah, it’s that good.

Dare I say that the only criticism I see on this mare is that her eye may be a bit small for some breeders and her neck could be slightly on the short side.  But considering the asking price, she’s an amazing find and a fantastic purchase deal.  She’s worth every penny!

6 years old, $3,500.00.

Cre Run Mare for Sale

2 September 2010

Cashin In

If you’re looking for a wonderful endurance prospect with an amazing racing pedigree, Cre Run has a perfect purchase opportunity!  They have a very attractive chestnut mare for sale, named Cashin In.

At the ripe age of 5, Cashin In has been started on the trails, ready to be your next endurance partner.  She stands at a nice 15.1 hands and from what I can see, she’s got a solid body and fabulous strong legs.

Her pedigree is backed by Cre Run’s breed-for-speed establishment.  Her sire is the very successful *Sambor son, Sam Tiki+.  Her dam is also an eye opening and impressive line up of horses like MHF Eclipse (triple *Morafic, including his son Dalul), as well as Menes, Ego, Comet and Negatiw.  WOW.

This mare is bred for power, speed, conditioning and soundness.  She is the kind of mare you can take seriously with endurance, or go in several other directions with.  She would be such a goldmine of bloodlines as well.  It’s a personal fantasy of mine to see a mare with her racing lines to be crossed onto something wild like Om El stallions or the like .. Just a breeder’s wild curiosity!

At any rate, I highly recommend checking her out in more detail.  She’s being offered for sale at roughly $6,400.00 USD / 5000 euro.

La’s Classika

1 September 2010

La's Classika

This beautiful Arabian mare, La’s Classika, is a dark bay, just 5 years old with a lot of great training under her belt.  She is being sold in BC.  She’s Sweepstakes Nominated and is projected to be a diverse mare, good for youth, Western Pleasure, Halter as well as a top broodmare candidate.

And she is beautiful, great proportion and nicely shaped face.  She’s got a wonderfully dynamic pedigree.  Her paternal grandsire is True Colours, sired by Thee Desperado.  The rest of her pedigree is a blend of the beautiful Polish Medalion, as well as a couple of crosses to *Bask and a couple more to *Aladdinn.

She’s personable, bright, enjoys being worked with and wants to engage in learning and tasks. This mare also likes mothering.  Sounds like a fantastic prospect!

Her ad mentions that her price is just $4,500.00.  Excellent price!

Monograms Marquis

31 August 2010

Monograms Marquis

This lovely chestnut mare, Monograms Marquis, is a mare that I personally would love to add to my “dream collection” of fine mares.  She’s got a beautiful Monogramm-esque face and lots of great motion.  From what little I can see of her based on her photo, she is well balanced.

She’s just 13 years of age and is Sweepstakes Nominated.  Her pedigree is the key that made me really sit up and take notice.  Of course, she is a direct Monogramm daughter, which speaks volumes, but on top of that, her dam’s pedigree only solidifies the level of “wow” in her pedigree.

Her dam is named Fa Stasha, and she is a *Statistic daughter.  *Statistic was a beautiful chestnut son of Patron, imported into the US from Holland.  What I attribute most to him is siring athleticism first and foremost, though he had a beautiful face with big eyes and big nostrils.

Fa Stasha’s dam, Derva Jur, is a Fadjur grand daughter, a Comet grand daughter, and a Nabor great grand daughter.  Monograms Marquis is backed with a lot of athleticism and beauty in her pedigree.

Her price is outstanding at just $4,000.00, due to illness in the family.

A Bunch of Show-offs

30 August 2010

This super fun video of Arabians at Liberty at Scottsdale 2008 is just super fun to watch.  The gray is especially impressive with that powerful trot and the way he just soaks up the energy from the crowd.
